Meet the Staff

Ashley: Ashley is a dedicated and dynamic leader who has been an essential part of our practice since 2007. She began her journey as a Patient Service Representative at our Mechanicsville location and quickly rose through the ranks, excelling in roles such as Implant Treatment Coordinator, Office Manager, and HR Director, a role she held for a decade. In 2024, after 10 years of shaping our team and culture, Ashley was promoted to Leader of VOFS, where she continues to elevate standards and foster a culture of excellence. With her thorough understanding of our practice and the healthcare field, Ashley is a trusted source of support for both our team and patients, ensuing efficient operations and excellence in patient care. When not at work, Ashley can be found supporting her two children at their sporting events, beach getaways, cruising, and spending time with her family.

Renee – Monument: Renee is the Office Manager at our bustling Monument location. This 22 year Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery veteran and Powhatan, VA native can be seen running every position in the office in a day’s work. When she’s not holding down the fort for Dr. Harris, Renee enjoys music, cooking (especially Italian) and spending time with her grandsons.                                                                                                                                 

Debra – Southside (Polo): Debra is a VOFS O.G. and the Office Manager you’ll meet for our Southside (Polo) and Cosmetic locations. Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, this Richmond-er of many years has been with Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery since 2003 and considers this practice her “home away from home.” She has over 25 years of experience in the Oral and Maxillofacial field, including studying at VCU School of Dentistry. Debra loves music of all kinds – especially directing children’s choirs, spending time with family and cruising to the Caribbean (particularly Aruba) every chance she gets.

Katy – Short Pump: With over 24 years of experience, Katy brings a calm, steady leadership style that keeps operations running smoothly no matter the challenge. Know for her can-do attitude and dedication as a patient advocate, Katy takes pride in leading by example, finding solutions, and ensuring the highest standard of care and service. Born and raised in Short Pump, VA she now resides in Montpelier with her husband and youngest daughter. Outside of the office, she loves to travel, fish, and spend time with her friends and family.

Jessie – Sandston: Jessie serves as the Office Manager at our Sandston location, where she’s known not only for her leadership but also for her exceptional dedication to our patients. A proud native of the Varina/Sandston area, Jessie has deep roots in the community and now resides in nearby New Kent, VA.
Since joining Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery in 2006 as a Patient Service Representative, Jessie has steadily advanced through the ranks, becoming the knowledgeable and well-rounded manager she is today. Her passion for her work is evident in everything she does, from supporting patients and staff to nurturing strong relationships with our referral partners and their teams.
Outside the office, Jessie enjoys a rich family life with her high school sweetheart, now husband, and their two adult daughters.

Morgan  –  Mechanicsville: Morgan has been the Office Manager at our Mechanicsville office since 2016, bringing with her several years of prior experience in general dentistry. Her background in both general and surgical dental practices gives her a well-rounded understanding of patient care and office operations. Originally from Northern Virginia, Morgan has made Mechanicsville home with her husband and their two children. She loves spending quality time with her family, especially during their regular beach trips to Myrtle Beach. Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying a quiet day on the sand, or visiting the local aquarium, she cherishes every moment of these getaways. Closer to home, you’ll often find her at the t-ball field cheering on her son. She also enjoys camping, reading, and the thrill of finding hidden treasures while thrift shopping. Her warm personality and commitment to patient care help create a welcoming environment for both our staff and the families we serve.

Velencia – Brandermill: Velencia is the Office Manager at our Brandermill location. She’s been with VOFS for 5 years and has a combined experience of over 18 years in the Dental field. Originally hailing from Killeen/Fort Hood TX, Velencia relocated to Virginia two years ago with her husband who is a United States Army Veteran. This supermom of three awesome children, Maurice, Darion and Payten, is also studying to receive her MBA from Kaplan University. In her free time, Velencia loves to swim, dance, decorate, cook, shop and volunteer with the Girl Scouts.
