Financial Policy
At Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery we offer several convenient financial payment options. We believe that cost should never stand in the way of making the best choices for your health and your family’s well-being.
- Prior to services being rendered, we will contact your insurance company to obtain a verification of your benefits and provide you with an estimated amount that is due when services are rendered. After your visit, we will file the insurance claims and bill you if there is any remaining balance.
- Some insurance companies and certain services require pretreatment review or authorization. If you decide to proceed with your procedure(s) before your insurance company has completed their preauthorization, you will be required pay in full when the services are rendered.
- Refunds will be processed within 30 days of request or final insurance payment. This may be delayed if there are processing errors, including insurance down-coding and denials to the provider for criteria.
- We accept cash, checks, money orders, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express credit and debit cards. Pay overtime options with Sunbit. *subject to approval
